1. Booking and Payment

1. All bookings must be made through our website or in-person at the facility.

2. Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

3. Prices are subject to change, but you will be charged the price at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

1. Cancellations must be made at least 24hrs before your scheduled session to receive a full refund.

2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend your session, will be non-refundable, and the full appointment fee may be charged.

3. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

3. Health and Safety

1. Sauna and cold bath sessions can affect your health. Consult your doctor if you have any medical conditions.

2. By booking, you confirm you are in good health and fit for sauna and cold bath use.

3. We are not liable for any injury, illness, or health issues that may occur during or after your session.

4. Sauna and cold immersion facilities are available only to individuals aged 18 years or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

4. Use of Facilities

1. Please follow all instructions from staff and posted rules in the sauna and cold bath rooms.

2. Smoking, alcohol consumption, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

3. Personal belongings are your responsibility; we are not liable for lost or stolen items.

5. Liability

1. We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

2. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website or facilities.

6. Intellectual Property

1. All content on the website, including images, text, and logos, is the property of The Contrast Suite

2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

7.Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

Subject to this, The Contrast Suite, operated by Mr Thomas King as a sole trader, shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or injury arising from the voluntary use of sauna or cold immersion facilities.

Health and Safety Waiver

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that the use of a traditional sauna and cold water immersion (chill tub) involves exposure to high heat and cold temperatures, which may cause physical stress on the body.

I acknowledge that potential risks include, but are not limited to:

• Dizziness or fainting

• Dehydration

• Burns or overheating

• Cold shock response

• Hyperventilation

• Cardiovascular strain

• Slips or falls

• Aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions

I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with participation.

2. Health Declaration

By booking and attending a session, I confirm that:

• I am 18 years of age or older

• I am in good physical health

• I do not suffer from uncontrolled heart conditions

• I do not have severe high or low blood pressure

• I am not under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• I am not pregnant, unless I have received medical clearance

• I have consulted a GP if I have any concerns about my suitability

If I have any medical condition, I accept full responsibility for ensuring participation is safe.

3. Voluntary Participation

I understand that:

• Sauna and cold immersion use is entirely voluntary

• I may exit at any time

• I am responsible for monitoring my own physical condition

4. Limitation of Liability (UK Compliant)

Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to this, I agree that The Contrast Suite shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from my voluntary use of the facilities.

5. Facility Rules

I agree to:

• Follow all posted safety guidelines

• Shower before using the chill tub

• Limit sauna sessions to recommended time periods

• Avoid prolonged cold immersion beyond recommended duration

• Exit immediately if feeling unwell

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in termination of the session without refund.

6. Consent

By booking a session, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this waiver

• I voluntarily agree to its terms

• I accept responsibility for my participation
